1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Multi Calendar’s event-sharing services (the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. The Service
Multi Calendar helps people publish and discover events, venues, artists, and organizers, and to compile them into calendars. We do not guarantee the accuracy, availability, or completeness of listings, and we do not endorse any particular event or organizer.
3. Eligibility & Accounts
- You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction).
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity on your account.
- Please notify us immediately of any unauthorized use or security incident.
4. User Content & Licenses
- You retain ownership of content you submit (e.g., event details, images, text).
- You grant Multi Calendar a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, display, reproduce, and distribute your content solely for operating, improving, and promoting the Service.
- You represent that you have all rights necessary to submit the content and that it does not violate any third-party rights or laws.
- Public submissions may be visible to anyone. Do not include confidential information.
5. Prohibited Conduct
- Posting unlawful, harmful, misleading, defamatory, or infringing content.
- Publishing events that encourage illegal activity or pose safety risks.
- Scraping, reverse engineering, or attempting to access the Service without authorization.
- Interfering with or disrupting the Service, or deploying malware/spam.
- Impersonating others or misrepresenting your affiliation.
6. Third-Party Links & Services
The Service may link to third-party websites or allow connections to calendars or other services. We are not responsible for third-party content or practices. Your use of third-party services is subject to their terms and policies.
7. Changes, Suspension, and Termination
We may modify or discontinue the Service (in whole or part) and may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, create risk, or for any reason permitted by law. You may stop using the Service at any time.
8. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
9. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MULTI CALENDAR AND ITS AFFILIATES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED (100) USD.
10. Indemnity
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Multi Calendar and its affiliates from and against claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your content or your use of the Service in violation of these Terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Ontario, Canada, for any dispute arising out of these Terms or the Service.
12. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted with a new “Last updated” date. If changes are material, we will provide additional notice as required by law. Your continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
